Brave New World

In a world where soma is legal which is weird, it gives me the thought, won't they get addicted? I mean soma is a drug where its like meth or cocaine yet its legalized. Also another factor is that people can cheat on each other? It seems rather weird since well, boy meets girl they get together, they don't care about each other so they cheat on each other. This proves to be weird would you have do the same thing?
So they visit a island thats composed of torturing someone just for rain as their blood rolls down the floor. Yet when Linda breaks something she was shunned which is a common thing, but it was just one thing. Are the things the native/ somewhat modern people do are very vital to do? These people look towards the modern day of the past, yet they socialize with magic, or call it that way. So it would seem that the island they live one would be the people who are still the doing the things back then, but now has dealings with magic which raises the question what kind of magic is it?
Sec. 2
ch 3-5
It seems weird that a warm broth would contain sperm, while its used to produced others. Would it be that its for nutrients for the sperms whilst it making them? While people allow erotic plays, and we can hear them talking about breast feeding, sexual intercourse, and all that sorts of things. It gives me the chills towards my spine as they would say, a chill down my spine. Books and paintings are banned and looked down upon yet, one controller has a safe that contains BOOKS. For back in the earlier chapters, babies are tortured when touching them. This sparks a question, could the controller actually be birthed rather than born from the embryos?

From the past things i have said for how the world in the book was very weird, from babies getting cloned to being tortured by sounds, and then doing erotic plays unlike reality the real world. Unlike others their are people like Bernard who find this all weird and sort-of opposed of all of this since he wants to be different. So he doesn't become a normal standard of a normal human, but takes steps in a different way. Then with Lenina like all other normal people (excluding Bernard) does the same thing, but Bernard just doesn't like them, when Bernard does something he likes, Lenina doesn't like it. When they take an plane they hear the captain (or speaker) talking about the Indians who do uncivil things like having marriage, while preaching Christianity, and talking in dead language like Spanish and Zuni, have families. Even thought they say these things, these are what in the real world or reality happen to have. One reason why things look a bit weird would be the part was at when one of the men wanted to be WHIPPED. Which in this case would be a normal if it wasn't for the fact that the guy wanted to be whipped, cause in the Indians or in some religion, these guys thought that by getting whipped, they would have Jesus, or whatever person they believed in would let it rain allowing them to grow corn which in general in is normal, but the guy wanted to be whipped.

3rd blog
As i read deeper into the summary of the book, i have found some quite disturbing things in it. First children getting tortured, the babies getting cloned and then sold at a store where everyone has the same face, personality, and everything. Now i come to another part of the book where i found it a bit more disturbing since told that erotic (sexual) plays weren't for adults, but for children (in real life)? It gives a more uncommon thing that i would hear when talking to what a child what be nowadays and that it would be more common in reality for adults rather than children to act these things. In the book the people there had limited emotions/feelings which makes me think did they teach them about it or shun it enough to not to. At least only one man is against this, Bernado, he hates it so he went against it.

Sec. 1
I though that ch 1-2 was a bit interesting and a bit disturbing since of the multiplying embryos that are all same meaning in each embryos are the same souls containing the same babies, which i think they sell the embryos at a shop similar to a pet shop. Not only that, but why would they torture the babies? Sure they are training the babies to later on take their future jobs, but would would they first give them a bunch of colorful books and toys then stop it before unleashing bit of pain to the children making them cry in pain before making another sound making the babies cry in desperation and in fear? The real question is why? There were other ways than to torture them, like teaching them about reading books and let them learn, but they tortured them, which sparked the question, were they doing this just so the babies would learn the definition of pain and fear?
From what i connected in other worlds the embryos consisted of babies, which in other cases were same people similar to twins which they were probably separated, so in in the world some kids that had a twin brother were separated in birth and in the embryo they were separated from each other in the shops so whats it like to not know you have a twin or a exact replica of you?
The part where the babies were tortured was somewhat connected to the part where i was tortured by my brother when we were alone so he spent time beating me up and made me cry in pain and in fear back then when i was a little kid and my little cousins (To: the readers please don't tease).
